Spectrum Distribution Limited is a private limited
liability company incorporated in Uganda in 2012. The Company specializes in
importing, distribution and marketing of
office and household furniture, Stationery
and IT products.
We are seeking for a suitable qualified person to
fill the position of Country Manager to manage our Uganda operations, develop our business plan, and
increase our market share.
The candidate should have specialist skills and
knowledge relating to this sector, and must have a University Degree with some
financial and or business administration qualification or training and should
have sound understanding of budgeting, financial planning as well producing final reports.
In addition, he/she should be able to stand in the role of challenges
and needs of a fast expanding business.
The job description for the position is:
1. Responsibility
for managing all operations within Uganda, taking profits, revenue, cash and
promoting detailed annual business operating plans.
2. Agreeing
annual budgets and promoting a detailed
annual business operating plans.
3. Deliver
operational leadership and assume full responsibility for contract relations
between the Company and its portfolio off shore industry customer, ensuring the Company sustains market
share in the furniture sales sector, achievements return on associated capital
investment and deliver profitable growth.
4. Direct
the day-to-day operational management of the Ugandan business applying as
required a hands on approach to producing solutions to strategic, technical, commercial and personal
related challenges which impact on
customer service and performance.
5. Supervise
management staff including performance, monitoring and mentoring.
6. Lead
delivery teams in achieving their goals and objectives and ultimately ensure
all contracts requirements are delivered
on time, within budget, delivered on time, technically complaint and to the
highest standard of safety, quality and operational excellence.
7. Ensure
emphasis is placed on future customers
and ensure excellent client relationship.
8. Provide
ongoing support to business acquisition
and bid preparation, working closely with colleagues in pursuit of new
contracts or extending existing contract
work supplies.
9. Ensure
day-to-day operations, maintain a contract alignment with overall corporate policy, strategy and
direction.
10. Lead the constant drive forces and forces to inform operational efficiency
via process, people or practical measures.
In effect raise the bar on business performance delivery.
11.
Deliver performance objectives on both plus and minus factors on the business.
12. Deliver
and monitor direct reports and generally coach team approach to reporting and leadership.
